Trash

Trash is a board-building card game where each player fills numbered slots in order. Draw a card, place it in its matching slot, and continue the chain when the displaced card can be used. The first player to complete the layout wins the hand.

Setup and goal

Each player begins with a row of face-down slots numbered from ace through ten. Cards are revealed as they are placed. A card with a usable number belongs in its matching slot. When every slot is correctly occupied, that player has completed the layout.

Wildcards and face cards

Before a game starts, choose Jack, Queen, or King as the wildcard rank. The selected rank can fill an open slot, while the other face cards are normally discarded. A wildcard may not replace a slot that is already correctly filled.

Turn flow

1. Draw from the stock or the top of the discard pile.
2. Place the card in a valid slot when possible.
3. Continue with the displaced card until the chain ends.
4. Discard a card when it cannot be placed, then pass the turn.

Ways to play

Local play supports solo tables with bots and Pass & Play for people sharing a device. The online room mode lets players join with an invite link and a nickname so each player can use a separate device.
